 Different ideas were put forward regarding Voter registration. One of these ideas was incorporating into computer classes, the www.checktheregister,ie facility. This allows everyone to check if they are on the electoral register by keying in their name and address. A table with information and forms would be available in each centre to encourage and make it easy for people to register. Another idea was to incorporate the registration form into literacy classes as an example of form filling. |
